HPC – Hydroxypropyl Cellulose from Nisso

NISSO HPC (Hydroxypropyl Cellulose) is a modified cellulose obtained by reacting propylene oxide with cellulose.
The presence of hydroxypropoxy group prevents the hydrogen bonding between the hydroxy groups on the cellulose chain, thereby making HPC soluble.
